High atop his Frozen Throne, the Lich King surveyed his Kingdom. For 10 long years he had ruled supreme over the frozen wasteland. Brave heroes ventured forth to attempt to bring his reign of icy terror to an end. Fighting through hordes of the scourge they found themselves at Arthas, the fallen Princes throne. For reasons unknown to the Lich King, the challengers starting spamming him with /dance and telling him jokes about a duck ordering chapstick. This angered him greatly, but mostly just left him confused. What had they come for? Suddenly, it dawned upon him.
The Lich King rose from his bitter seat and in a booming voice declared “WOULD YOU LIKE A FLAKE WITH THAT?”
While I await the announcement for my nomination for the Man Booker Prize, let me clue you in a little on this promotion.
Blizzard are genuinely offering free ice cream as part of a European tour reports PcGamesN. The tour will visit several European cities before culminating at Gamescon.
While obviously not as awesome as our own Swagbox giveaway (click here to enter), you might still want to get some free ice cream. The price, after all, is right.
The offer isn’t entirely insane. The free ice cream is being offered as part of the hype-train for the new Hearthstone expansion ‘Knights of the Frozen Throne’. For those of you unfamiliar with Warcraft lore that first paragraph probably made no sense at all and I’m not about to elaborate any further now. If you don’t know a little about Warcraft by this point, there really isn’t much hope for you.
Well, ok, Warcraft 3 is getting remastered, so there might be a little hope for you, but not much.
Free icecream will be offered on the tour, including the Lich Kings own flavour apparently.
The giveaway is taking place at the following dates in August:
