Blizzard Releases Battle.net Mobile App for Android and iOS

Blizzard Entertainment, maker of classic games such as WarCraft and StarCraft has released a new mobile app. It is basically a social media app but dedicated entirely to those with a Battle.net account. Obviously if you have one of their games including any of the WarCraft, and StarCraft, you have a registered account already (unless you pirated the games).
Blizzard Battle.net App Features
Users can keep in touch with their Battle.net friends, talk strategies or just hangout and talk. The layout is actually similar to Facebook’s messenger application. Add new friends, make new ones and challenge them to a match or two. Users can add friends by name, handle or even via QR code scanning. You can even browse the user list to find a friend.
Like any decent messenger program, the app notifies the player if their friends are online. In addition, it also indicates whether their friends are inside a game. This lets them know whether it is a good time to jump in.
The app also supports multiple languages, currently available in:
- English
- Français
- Deutsch
- Español (Latinoamérica)
- Español (Europa)
- Português
- Italiano
- Polski
- Русский
- 한국어 (Korean)
- 繁體中文 (Traditional Chinese)
- 简体中文 (Simplified Chinese)
Download it now for the iOS or for Android.
