First impressions of the case leave you in silence as it’s such a unique product with nothing else even remotely similar to it on the market. That’s due to the chrome styling that Boogie Bug’s Dub Style team have invested into the case.
The front of the case features a basic design incorporating all of the main features expected. There are screw points in each corner for taking the front of the chassis apart, but there is no need for the average user. Four 5.25 drive bays and a single 3.5 drive for use with a floppy drive or multimedia panel or similar device are also included.
The case is split in the middle by having a groove filling all the way along. Situated along this grove is the power button, various LEDs, reset button and front panel connectors. The front panel connectors that this case has, includes a microphone and headphone jack, two USB 2.0 ports and a 1394 FireWire port.
Towards the bottom of the case is a mesh panel of which 2 x 92mm LED fans are situated branding the Zalman name. As Zalman are the original manufacturer of this case, their cooling is still incorporated.
The left hand side of the case has a unique split design. The rear compartment has a window which opens out towards the back of the case whereas the front compartment opens out towards the front of the case and is solid.
The right hand side includes a similar split design but both sides are solid and no window is included which is generally the norm on cases to hide any cable management.
The rear sees the location for the power supply towards the top of the case. Another fan is situated just beneath. This time however featured is a 120mm LED fan, once again manufactured by Zalman. Keeping in fashion of how large the case is, there are seven expansion slots for your various expansion cards and similar devices.
Just to the right of the expansion slots (below the fan) are 3 logos, the first being the ZMachine logo, whilst the other denotes that the case is manufactured by Zalman whereas the logo in the middle incorporates the styling of Boogie Bug with their own logo and Dub Style denotation.
