PC Performance Benchmarks

As you can see, we really have put in the time to push through a staggering amount of graphics cards. The old results on the higher-end cards are still included, of course. As you might expect, budget cards populate the lower section, but the Nvidia RTX cards still dominate the top of the charts.

1080p

Amazingly, for 1080p, the game proved quite modest to run. The GTX 1060 OC and the RX 580 scored around 55 FPS each. However, keep in mind that we run high settings across the board with V-Sync off. You could easily drop down to medium to make those cards playable. The same is true for the RX 670 and the GTX 1650. However, the GTX 1050 Ti and the GTX 1050 may even need to go lower, perhaps even to 720p to be playable.

1440p

The game definitely took the wind out of the sails of the older cards at 1440p. Even with our test-bench rocking the i9-9900K, it just wasn’t enough. It wasn’t until we got to the new AMD RX 5700 that we broke through 60 FPS. However, dropping to medium settings would be recommended for the GTX 1660 Ti up to the GTX 1070 OC. Anything below that, such as the GTX 1660 should clearly stick to 1080p for optimal performance.

2160p

Amazingly, not one card managed to break 60 FPS at 4K. That’s honestly surprising. Even then, the AORUS XTREME RTX 2080 Ti is a beast, hitting 57.1 FPS at high settings. However, the RTX 2080 SUPER only managed 45.1. I’m sure anything from the RTX 2080 and above or the 5700 XT could be pushed to playable frame rates, however, you’ll need to make a compromise on fidelity settings.
