Where to Buy
Borderlands 3 is available to buy now on the Epic Game Store due to it being a timed exclusive. However, it will be available on other PC marketplaces in the coming months. It’s currently listed for £49.99 and above, depending on which version you desire.
Overview
So there you have it, Borderlands 3 tested on a much wider range of graphics cards. Something to fit all sizes, budgets, and the last couple of years of PC gaming. Sure, there are older cards we could test. However, as you could see, the last gens budget cards were already starting to run out of steam quite quickly. That’s not to see some of the old powerhouses can’t still cut it. A GTX 680, or 980 Ti for example, as still comparable to some of the budget cards of today. As are cards like the VEGA 56 and 64. However, the RX 300 and 200 series may be getting a little out of power these days.
Which Card Should I Buy?
Well, honestly, that wasn’t always our intention here. What we wanted to see is how well the game runs on a card that you already own. Perhaps even on a card you intend to purchase. I mean, you can see which performance figures we got from each. Match up your chosen resolution to the card you desire and go from there. However, the best bang for your buck seems to be the Nvidia RTX 2060 regular and SUPER editions or the AMD Radeon RX 5700 and 5700 XT. All these cards hit around 60 FPS at 1440p, and great quality settings at both 1080p and 1440p. Plus, they’re not stupidly expensive, making them very attractive to PC gamers.
