Bose Reveals Its Next Generation QuietComfort Ultra Headphones & Earbuds

Bose is a top name in the audio market and is often a go-to brand for many people. Today Bose has introduced the next generation of its QuietComfort line with new QuietComfort headphones and earbuds offering world-class noise cancellation, high-quality audio, and legendary comfort and stability.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones

The QuietComfort Ultra Headphones come in to replace the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 as Bose’s flagship banded headphone. They offer a completely re-engineered system with proprietary signal processing, a robust chipset, and advanced microphones all leading to improved noise cancellation and CustomTune technology as well as Bose Aware Mode with ActiveSense, and remarkable voice pickup. The headphones make calls crystal clear with the use of a beamform array to isolate your voice from 360 degrees of unwanted nearby sound for clear conversations.

The design of the headphones is highly minimal with a modern and premium look that is capable of folding flat into a compact storage case. The right earcup features three controls for power/Bluetooth pairing, a capacitive touch strip for volume control and shortcut access, and a multifunction button for toggling listening modes, answering or ending calls, and content playback. On the left earcup is where the LED indicator, 2.5mm jack and USB-C charging port is hosted which is for the 24-hour battery which drops to 18 hours when using Bose Immersive Audio.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds

The QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds come in to replace the QC Earbuds II and feature a refreshed design that offers a new metallic, sleek and luxe look. The stability bands on the earbuds have also been improved for more comfort and stability during use. These earbuds offer responsive touch controls, an IPX4 rating and improved far-end call quality with support for dynamic microphone mixing, adaptive filters and improved voice pickup in loud environments. These earbuds charge through USB-C and offer up to 6 hours of battery life on a single charge and connect to your device through Bluetooth.

What Bose Had To Say

“We know that listening to music is a deeply personal experience—what you listen to, when and where you listen, and the emotion it has the power to evoke,” said Raza Haider, Chief Product Officer for Bose. “The QuietComfort Ultra Headphones and Earbuds with Bose Immersive Audio won’t disappoint. The lifelike listening experience, superior noise cancellation performance, and modern design truly make both products the ultimate companion for any music lover.”

Price and Availability

The QuietComfort Ultra Headphones and QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds will be available beginning early October for $429 and $299 respectively. Both are available in Black and White Smoke. The QuietComfort Headphones will be available on September 21st for $349 also available in Black and White Smoke, plus a limited-edition Cypress Green. Pre-orders for all products begin today in the U.S. on Bose.com.
