Bosnians Warned Not To Play Pokémon GO in Minefields

While you enjoy and play the biggest games, Pokémon GO seems to dwarf even the biggest mobile and console-based games as players as thousands of players are now hunting throughout the world to catch ’em all. We do recommend that you exercise some caution while playing the game such as not stepping in Minefields.
The Bosnian Charity responsible for demining, Posavina bez Mina. issued the warning after hearing about people playing the game while exploring risky areas which may or may not have been cleaned from land mines that are still present from the war that ended in 1995. With players exploring the real world to try to catch the original generation of pocket monsters, sometimes people have been oblivious to the private property or police stations that they’ve walked into.
With an estimated 120,000 mines estimated to still be laying around underground awaiting deactivation, it’s not recommended that players explore the areas which have demining signs around.
With more and more incidents occurring with Pokémon GO players, there is a big line being drawn between players who are doing less than sensible things to try to catch them all while others have even found themselves spotting a thief while they were playing the game.
