Are you a fan of construction games? A fan of puzzle games? Then Bridge Constructor: Portal might be exactly for you.
I must confess, in what many will consider a blasphemy (how much depends on the person), but I wasn’t a massive fan of Portal. Don’t get me wrong, I liked it, but I didn’t really see what all the fuss was about.
On the other hand, I absolutely loved the Portal-inspired gaming tower which, if you are quick, you still might be able to enter our competition to win it.
Bridge Constructor, however, I loved. Going years back to some similar flash games, I have always loved that type of puzzle/problem solver.
Bridge Constructor: Portal might, therefore, represent one of my ‘must have’ games for December. For console gamers, it might have to be a ‘must have’ for 2018.
In a report via Kotaku, the game will blend the 2 types of games into one brand new one. The basic premise, as per Bridge Constructor will be getting a vehicle from point A to point B.
What the Portal aspect offers, however, is the opportunity to think outside the confines of straight lines.
This should even appeal to the more hardcore puzzle fans as the possibilities are frankly mind-boggling.
Although we do not have a release date as of yet, the brief teaser below has already convinced me that I simply have to have this.
Bridge Constructor: Portal will be available on PC, MAC, Linux and Mobile December 20th. A console release is planned for some time in 2018.
