CableMod 12VHPWR Adapters Available for Pre-Order

CableMod has announced that their long-awaited Angled adapter for the controversial NVIDIA 12VHPWR connectors is available for order. For those of you looking for a clean adapter for your 40 series Graphics card that reduces the bending of the original then CableMod has you covered.

Improved Connections

These adapters come in both 180 Degree and 90 Degree models allowing the cable to be routed either over or under the graphics card respectively and they also come in a large variety of striking colours. Designed to reduce the bending of the cable the adapter utilizes a reinforced PCB design to achieve an angled connection. No wire bending ensures full contact with all cable terminals, and zero risk of thermal issues through excessive wire and terminal stress from tight bending.

The angled adapters are designed to ensure there is no risk of thermal issues previously reported with 12VHPWR adapters and use a 2oz copper PCB with applied copper foil to aid heat dissipation. Combined with a thermal pad and a quality aluminium shell to ensure the cables remain at a safe temperature.

The slim profile of the adapter at 15.4mm ensures that there is plenty of room between your side panel and your GPU which is especially important considering the size of these new 40 series GPU’s making it difficult for traditional cables to be used and not to be under pressure from the side panel.

These Adapters are available for Pre-order now from Cablemod’s Store and are set to be shipped out on the 8th of March at a price of €39.90.
