CableMod Announces WideBeam Hybrid LED Strips

CableMod has rapidly become a firm favourite among hardware enthusiasts due to the immense quality of their braided cable range and ability to add more vibrant touch without extensions across different power supply models. It’s important to remember that the company also produces innovative lighting kits. Recently, CableMod expanded their lighting series and introduced the WideBeam Hybrid LED featuring superior colour saturations and vibrancy.

Interestingly, the new product combines two different types of LEDs on a single strip. The first type is the same as WideBeam RGB LEDs seen on the company’s original RGB offerings. The second form is a more focused UV LED which illuminates reactive components inside the chassis. On another note, the lighting can be controlled via a 40-key remote control. This allows you to customise the RGB and UV lighting independently. Also, the control box employs RF technology, so you don’t have to point the remote at a specific detection area for it to work properly.

CableMod incorporated two types of adhesive strips. More specifically, those with a magnetic chassis can take advantage of the rare-earth magnets embedded underneath the strip’s waterproof coating. Those without a magnetic case can rely on the strong 3M adhesive instead.
