Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is almost here and with the game hitting PC on the 4th of November (or the 3rd if you pre-order), many people are eager to find out if their PC can run it.
The minimum system requirements for the game are pretty straight forward and you won’t require a lot of high-end hardware to get this game running; no surprise for a game that is usually a lazy console port. One thing that does stand out is that the game requires 6GB of RAM, I personally have 8GB and I’m sure many of you do, but 4GB and even 2GB equipped systems are still the norm for many users. I suspect this is especially true those who are still rocking the GTS 450 or the HD 5870 graphics cards.
Recommended PC specifications are not available, which worries me as they’re likely hiding one of two facts. The first would be that the recommended specifications are quite low; which could highlight how far behind their games engine has become compared to other modern PC exclusive shooters. The second would be that they could be stupidly high specifications; which could highlight that the game is poorly optimized. This close to release, I would expect full specifications to have been made available, giving gamers the chance to equip their systems to best enjoy the game.
