Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare to Feature Magboots and Dog Fights

With the latest revelation in the Call of Duty series showing that war will exist even in space, players have been dubious about what the next Call of Duty game will feature, including the magnetic boots and dog fights that the game has already confirmed will feature.

Just watching the trailer you can already see that some combat will still take place on the earth, with giant ships blasting cities overhead as you fight against the “settlement defence front”.

According to design director Jacob Minkoff, the space fights won’t just be on rail sections as you’ll get to enjoy “open dog fighting arenas with full freedom of flight in all directions, where you will take part in battles against capital ships and enemy fighters, as well as exciting on-rail attack runs”.

Alongside the traditional missions, there will also be “optional missions” that you can access through the Jackal, your trusted fighter, reminding us that there will still be a single player campaign to enjoy and explore in a multiplayer-focused franchise. With grapples and thrusters to carry on the Call of Duty idea of movement in combat, you’ll be able to get from cover to those tall platforms so that “once you find a good vantage point, you have mag-boots that allow you to lock onto surfaces no matter which way they are oriented.”

Looking to redefine the series with some new features, new styles of combat and new ways to enjoy the story, the current trailer has (at the time of writing) 2,299, 259 dislikes against their 378, 890 likes, showing that the company has a lot of people to convert to the new game before it releases later this year.
