Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer teaser released

Activision Blizzard have released the multiplayer teaser video for the upcoming first person shooter title Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. You can watch the video below:

The game trailer has been met with much dislike across the internet community already, as this article is written of 15000 views there are 2500dislikes to just 1900 likes. It seems the upcoming Battlefield 3 game has grabbed so much attention with its spectacular visuals and playability that Modern Warfare 3 is being totally overshadowed.

You should probably watch the video and decide for yourself but what is apparent from the multiplayer teaser video is that not much has really changed. The only notable changes are “killstreaks” have been replaced by “pointstreaks” and players can earn the same type of rewards (helicopter support, attack drones etc) from assists and completing objectives in addition to kills. The core of the gameplay is still the same except with some new perks, new game modes and new weapons. It remains to be seen whether new content will be enough to keep the Call of Duty series alive or whether the lack of adventurous change could spell the end for one of the most reputable games of all time.
