Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Final System Requirements Revealed

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is almost here, and while Call of Duty has become less of a big deal than it used to be, this new entry is sure to still be a runaway hit for Activision! Personally, I’m always amazed they can spend upwards of half a billion dollars to largely make the same game each time, but hey, that’s just me. Gameplay may be stale, but as for graphics, the franchise has come a long way, and it looks like the newest version is going to take advantage of many of the latest graphics technologies, as well as the latest hardware to great effect.
Features
- 4K Graphics and Ultrawide support
- 500+ customization options on PC
- Supports NVIDIA DLSS 3 and Reflex at Launch
- Protected by RICOCHET Anti-Cheat
- Available on BNET and Steam
For an entry point, you’ll be looking at some modest i5’s or Ryzen 5 first-gen CPUs, with 8GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960/1650 or RX 470, which is actually pretty great, as even some potato gaming laptops should be more than up to that level of gaming. However, you will need a staggering 149GB of disk space, and they recommend you use an SSD too. I wouldn’t be far surprised if you needed 200GB after a couple of updates.
Mid-range systems hit the recommended settings, so an i7-6700K or Ryzen 1600X with 16GB of RAM, paired with a GTX 1080 Ti or RTX 3060 for Nvidia, or RX 6600XT for AMD will get you to 1080p High 60 FPS.
Beyond that, the sky is the limit, with something like the RTX 3080/4070 or 6800 XT for 4K Ultra, but that’s again at 60 FPS, so if you wanted to max out high refresh rate monitors, then obviously something like the 4080 or 6800 XTX will be more than enough.
