Ok, so pre-ordering might be a little risky when it comes to new games, but I think that the third expansion for Starcraft II is a pretty safe bet. Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void is currently available for pre-order, and it comes in two different versions priced at $39.99 and $59.99. The more expensive variant is the digital deluxe edition that includes the standard edition as well as a World of Warcraft Archon pet, a Protoss-themed Hearthstone card back, unique portraits and unit skins, a Void Seeker mount and a Probe pet as well as a Protoss transmog in Diablo III.
Those who will choose to pre-order the expansion will also be able to enjoy early access to a prologue campaign that bridges the storyline gap between Heart of the Swarm and the beginning of Legacy of the Void. Moreover, pre-ordering guarantees access to the game’s closed beta phase. During the “Whispers of Oblivion” prologue, the player takes on the role of Zeratul, who seeks to decipher a series of old prophecies.
The prologue has no official release date right now, but we do know that it will be offered for free.
