Valorant is a weird one, as it does support eh 5K2K aspect ratio/resolution in the menu, but regardless of what aspect ratio you’re using, the game is locked to 16:9, which I guess is for eSports or competitive gaming to keep the playing field fair, so we won’t be maxing out the whole screen, that’s for sure. The game is effectively running at 2560×1440 with black borders to fill the width.
However, with everything maxed out, VSync off, and in full combat, the game runs hilariously fast.
With frame rates over 500 FPS at all times, I am now unsure why I even bother to check this one. Alas, if I do my quick math, if they did support 32:9 and the frame rate halved as a result, it would still be well above the 240FPS target, which is great!
