Canadian Immigration Website Crashes as Trump Soars in Election

As results for the US presidential election pours in from the various states, it is likely that Donald Trump is going to win overall and with that in mind, many disgruntled democratic voters are looking for an exit strategy. One of those would simply be to leave the country and look for pastures new.
This includes moving to Europe, Australia, or more than likely, it’s closest neighbour; Canada. While having many similarities and being a close ally, many flocked to the Canadian immigration website, the problem being that more people than expected had the same idea which caused the website to crash.
Users would normally find a website plentiful of information on how to move and live in Canada but instead found themselves staring at a hanging page. Generally speaking, moving to Canada would involve living with family or applying for a work permit as you’d expect.
Many democratic celebrities have recently taken to the media and social platforms to express their plans if Trump did end up winning the presidency. We can only ask now, “will they follow through with their promises?”. We very much doubt it and over time, the sour grapes feeling will fade.
