Capcom has addressed a recent issue involving the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes regarding a missing raytracing option.
Resident Evil 2 and 3 Raytracing Removed
In a recent update for both Resident Evil 2 and 3 the graphics option that enables ray tracing was noticed by gamers to have been removed with many thinking it was an intentional change. Luckily for ray tracing lovers, this change wasn’t intentional and it has been announced on the Resident Evil Twitter that this was a mistake and will be remedied in a future update.
No More RayTracing, For Now
How exactly they managed to remove this setting isn’t known but clearly, it sparked plenty of notice from fans who love the RAYS. It’s interesting to see how many things can go wrong with just one simple update it’s why most people always refrain from updating their graphics drivers straight away or updating Windows.
