CAPCOM‘s Street Fighter V Arcade Edition is finally launching on January 16. Along with the new arcade mode, it will also introduce new V-trigger moves for every single character. Which is why CAPCOM has releasd a 24-minute long video detailing what each move does. This should give players some familiar ground ahead of the launch.
Along with the video is a blog post naming and detailing each move in print. Each V-Trigger II provides players a different power up from the original V-trigger I moves. Plus, it adds a completely different dimension to the competitive gameplay. For most characters, it allows combo extension or better defensive/offensive options.
Ken for example, gets his multi-hit Shinryuken move from the SFA/SF3 series. Akuma/Gouki gets a new move called Shiretsu Hasshi which allows him to extend combos without burning EX gauge. He is also able to cancel from many normal movies into this V-Trigger opening up plenty of combo opportunities.
Current owners of Street Fighter V will get the Arcade Edition as a free update on January 16. It also includes previous DLCs with the exception of the latest Season 3 character pass. This character pass adds classic characters Sakura, Sagat, Blanka, Cody with new characters Falke and G.
