Capcom Reveal Exoprimal PC Requirements

I must admit, until this morning I hadn’t even heard of Exoprimal, and that’s a damn shame, as it looks like a really fun game. Actually, it looks like a mixture of really cool ideas and some really dumb ideas, but overall, it does look surprisingly entertaining and bonkers. With Exoprimal coming out fairly soon, Capcom has now released the official PC system requirements, so you can find out if you can run it or not!

They look pretty reasonable too, surprisingly reasonable actually, as the game looks graphically pretty solid in the trailer (although, in the trailer, they always do). You’re going to need an Intel Core i5-7500 or an AMD Ryzen 3 1200, which is to say just about any competent quad-core CPU from about the last decade should do just fine. However, they recommend an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, but even those are mid-range parts from 4-5 years ago.

When it comes to graphics cards, those still desperately eager to upgrade to new hardware will be happy to see there is still life in their older systems yet. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB VRAM or AMD Radeon RX 560 with 4GB VRAM is the minimum, moving up to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 590 for the recommended. Could this be one of those rare games that is actually realistically optimised? Interesting.

However, Capcom has not revealed the PC requirements for running at 4K or Ultra, but honestly, I don’t think they’ll be too bad, I bet any modern AMD or Nvidia card will go far on this one.

When is Exoprimal Released?

Capcom stated that this game will be released on the 14th of July. However, with their Spotlight 2023 event coming soon, there may be more updates on that, as well as a new trailer. However, I strongly suggest you check out the current trailer, it looks really good!

Exoprimal Trailer

Exoprimal is an online, team-based action game that pits humanity’s cutting-edge exosuit technology against history’s most ferocious beasts – dinosaurs. Exosuits are grouped into different roles, and players will pilot these exosuits to hold firm against overwhelming dinosaur swarms in online-only, team-based action game modes.
