Even though the gaming community had high hopes for Street Fighter V, it looks like the PC version of the game is not exactly up to par with their expectations, particularly as far as the game’s online mode is concerned. PC gamers have reported other issues as well, including the lack of keyboard rebinding options and the lack of native DirectInput support, both of which can become incredibly frustrating. Fortunately, it looks like Capcom is taking measures to fix Street Fighter V, and so the game’s developers are already working on an update that will address some of the hottest issues. Apparently, the team has already worked on fixing most matchmaking issues, which means that you should already be able to find a match faster.
Crashing issues and fighter ID corruption are still to be resolved, but I’m confident that the patch shouldn’t be too far behind, especially since it’s in Capcom’s best interest to have the game fixed as soon as possible. When it comes to DirectInput support, the developers have stated that they are actively looking into adding this feature into the game, but XInput remapping tools such as x360CE could still be used in the meanwhile.
