Bad news for those of you who were planning to play Carmageddon: Reincarnation this month as the company behind the anticipated title, Stainless Games, recently announced that it would be delaying the game for a whole month. The original release date was planned for April 23, but it looks like the game will actually come out on May 21.
“We’ve been making great strides on all fronts, and were within a metric smidge of releasing next week, but in our final “Go/No Go” meeting we all agreed that the extra time was needed. The additional month gives us time to polish various areas of the game even further.”
However, Stainless Games has also announced that it would release a brand new update for the Early Access build before the Carmageddon’s official launch. The update will apparently include a series of important improvements.
Now I don’t know about you but Carmageddon is one of those games that I have enjoyed immensely in my childhood. Remaking a title that bears so much weight is a huge responsibility that should not be taken lightly, and I am sure that many of you agree that a bit of a wait is not so bad as long as it ensures a polished and glitch-free product.
Will you be purchasing Carmageddon: Reincarnation in May?
