Carrier Reveal New Z-Wave Smarthome Products at CES 2017

Carrier is here at CES 2017 Showstoppers event, showing off their latest range of smarthome devices designed to make your life more connected, yet simpler at the same time. With their new range of COR Home Automation hardware, you can control, automate and monitor your lighting, heating, locks, cameras, window and door sensors, water sensors, CO and Smoke detectors and more from your smart devices.

Their entire range is Z-Wave compatible and includes motion sensors, security cameras (indoor and outdoor), touchscreen control panels and keypads, open/close sensors, water sensors, CO/Smoke sensors, and much more!

One we don’t see from many brands, a Z-Wave water valve, this is great in case of a leak. If the water sensor detects a leak, the valve can close, and that could save you a freaking fortune in damages!

Wireless control plugs, allowing you to set timers, remote control and more for any power outlet. They’re super easy to install too, just wire them in like any other plug or replace your existing fittings.

Their compact touchscreen interface (optional). Just mount it on your wall, and create a central hub to take command of your house.

Their wireless door/window sensors.

Finally, a security keypad for the alarm systems, as well as a remote lock. Naturally, it’ll all run through the usual smart home interfaces too, such as Alexa, and we can’t wait to get hands on and test out all of this new hardware!

It’s great to see such a comprehensive range from a single brand, we look forward to bringing you more details as soon as we have them.
