Crowd-funded startup Crono Labs has designed an interesting micro-ATX PC chassis that can be mounted easily on the back of any monitor that features a VESA mount. The C1 case is meant to transform regular monitors into powerful gaming AIOs, thus representing a perfect solution for those who want to save space without sacrificing performance. The case has enough space for GPUs of up to 10.5” as well as a mATX or ITX motherboard, a regular ATX PSU, a pair of 2.5” drives, two 3.5” drives, low profile CPU coolers and four 120mm fans.
Those who wish to use water-cooling solutions are free to install one 120mm cooler and one 240mm cooler at the same time. However, water coolers will not fit within the case if an mATX motherboard is installed. The C1 case features its own reliable stand, which means that it won’t weigh heavily on your monitor’s stand. It also comes with a handle and a brushed aluminium panel that gives off a sense of high quality. Crono Labs needs just $2,000 to start making prototypes of the C1 case, and if you’re looking to pre-order one of these things, you can do so by pledging $100.
