CaseLabs Introduces Bullet BH8 EATX SFF Case
Ron Perillo / 7 years ago
CaseLabs has a new small form factor case called the Bullet BH8, supporting EATX motherboards. It is slightly taller than its predecessor, the BH7, by two inches. This allows for better cooling options. Since it is also two inches longer than the BH7, it supports longer video cards and radiators. Advanced users can install custom liquid-cooling lops. Like all Bullet Series cases, it is portable and comes with an optional carrying handle.
BH8 Cases will be available in up to 3 windows with half vented top, or dual windows with full vented top with no added cost. The announcement of the Bullet BH8 also includes the new option of a matte red paintjob. Other color options include black, white, and gunmetal.
The maximum GPU clearance is 332mm with 25mm thick fans at the front of the case. Meanwhile, CPU tower air coolers have up to 193mm in height clearance. Users can mount up to 55mm-thick radiators at the top when a liquid-cooled video card is installed. When an air-cooled video card is in there however, there is 10mm more clearance at 65mm. This is also the same maximum recommended radiator clearance at the bottom 240mm mount. Radiator sizes supported include 120, 240, 140, and 280mm.
100% American Made
American-made PC cases are few and far between since 99% of manufacturers use factories in China, however CaseLabs is purely designed and fabricated in the USA. They use 2.3mm heavy-gauge aluminum, creating a sturdy “hard shell” and is highly durable. Other than their retail products, CaseLabs’ usual clientele include military and industrial applications so they lean more toward longevity than other cases.
Pricing and Availability
The Bullet BH8 is now available online via www.caselabs-store.com starting at $249.95. Users can customize the BH8 with various Bullet-compatible accessories and add-ons as well.
