The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the biggest train wrecks in gaming history but this also gives us one of the greatest and most expensive comebacks. CD Projekt Red has spent upwards of $120 million dollars since its launch to improve the game, albeit much of this was done through their new DLC Phantom Liberty.
The DLC was released to critical praise and all-round applause from the players which is just what CD Projekt Red needed after the launch of the base game. This is even more the case when you hear how much the DLC cost them to make, the game costs $60 Million and $21 Million to market the DLC. This becomes apparent when you play it as it feels like it’s its own game, partly due to the new content, and the extensive updates the game received in the time since launch.
Check out the video below, it’s quite long, but will tell you everything you need to know and you can pick and choose which bits you watch as it is three hours long!
