With the start of the new year comes one of the biggest events in the tech calendar, CES International. The event takes over a colossal amount of the Las Vegas strip and its surrounding areas as the who’s who of the tech industry, manufacturers, suppliers and more aim to show their worth to the rest of the industry and the related media.
eTeknix isn’t new to the CES scene and Andy and Chris were here last year, but given the overwhelming scale of the event they’ve been kind enough to invite me along for the ride with them in the hope we can bring you even more coverage of the show.
Just like any great story, this one starts out with an epic journey. After I had completed the 10 hour coach journey from Leeds to Kent, I was able to meet up with the rest of the eTeknix team, Andy the site owner, Chris our storage, memory and motherboard (to name but a few) reviewer.
Also in attendance was Ryan our superb cooling editor who came to pay us a visit before we headed out to Gatwick airport.
A little last minute work and tinkering before we loaded up our bags, far too busy to tidy up of course.
Loaded up and ready to go through security at the airport, the fear of a super long flight begins to set in.
Thankfully a hearty breakfast helped alleviate some of the stress of the flight.
30,000ft above the Atlantic as we spend 11 hours making “are we there yet” jokes.
At least at times, the view was simply incredible, but where are all the technology pictures I hear you ask? well CES International is a big show and boy do we have some great coverage lined up for you soon.
Stay tuned to the site, our Facebook page, Twitter or YouTube as we’ve already got hundreds of images, stories and even a few up close videos to give you a taste of the tech on display this year.
