It looks like you won’t be required to buy the upcoming DLC for Mortal Kombat X in order to experience the new characters. The latest news reveals that all characters from the DLC will be free once players complete the Premiere towers.
The announcement has been made by Ed Boon via a tweet, where he announces the DLC’s free availability. Boon also said some of the characters like Jason will be available in this way through the Premiere towers.
Though the aforementioned characters are free to play (once completing a game requirement), the question remains if whether or not every paid character that comes out for Mortal Kombat X will follow the same pattern.
