The teaser trailer for Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice has already been viewed by over 20 million DC Comics fans on Youtube even though it’s only been out for a few days now. In order to keep the hype train going, director Zack Snyder recently released the first two posters for the highly anticipated movie via his Twitter page.
The movie is set to come out in 2016, and its story takes place after the events of the 2013 Superman movie named “Man of Steel.” Henry Cavill is still the one to portray the alien superhero, while Batman’s costume will now be worn by Ben Affleck. Judging by the trailer and the posters, the conflict between the two appears to have a very dark vibe, and it even has a few religious connotations.
Apart from Cavill and Afleck, we’ll get to see Gal Gadot portraying Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. Dawn of Justice will be the very first film to bring together Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. The movie is based on novels such as Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: Noel and Kingdom Come. Make sure to let us know what you think about the posters!
