Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 is a classic title which came out just a few months before I was born, which is good because it reminds me I’m still young, though it might make some of you feel a bit old. Like many older titles over the past month and upcoming future, this game has received the RTX Remix treatment as shared by NVIDIA’s Jacob Freeman (Via DSOGaming).

Several images were shared of this RTX Remix project which is in a very early development stage, so early in fact that there is currently no ModDB listing for the project. It’s very simple so far only featuring enhancements to the lighting which accompany the original 2002 low-res textures and low-poly models. Despite that, it does show just how much of a difference a good lighting system can make to a game, no matter how low quality the textures are.
RTX Remix projects are quickly gaining traction with the likes of Half Life 2, Grand Theft Auto, Skyrim and even Garfield Kart. Be sure to check out our full guide to RTX Remix to keep up with the latest projects.
