This year’s Gamescom event is certainly an eventful one, as plenty of companies are revealing new games or gameplay footage for their already announced titles. Star Citizen is definitely one of the most anticipated space simulation games, and the good news is that Cloud Imperium decided to treat its fans with a brand new gameplay video, more specifically a cut from its Multicrew Demo prepared specifically for Gamescom. The official Gamescom Event variant will be released soon enough, and we’ll definitely keep you posted.
Until then, you can feast your eyes on this gameplay footage that showcases a combat session between two relatively large ships.
The video highlights the fact that players will be able to man different turrets on the same ship and work together to take down the enemy. During these battles, coordination between teammates and quick response times become vital, not to mention the pilot’s ability to avoid obstacles. Star Citizen is expected to come out in 2016, and it will be interesting to see if it will be able to surpass the popularity of the already successful Elite: Dangerous and the upcoming No Man’s Sky. Are you looking forward to this PC exclusive game?
