Cherry Reveals MC 4000 Precision Gaming Mouse

What we have here is a relatively simple-looking yet impressive gaming mouse that was recently unveiled by Cherry. The mouse is named MC 4000 Precision, and even though it doesn’t really look too eccentric, it is definitely well-suited for gamers. That’s because it includes a high-quality optical sensor, as well as a sliding surface the covers its bottom side. The optical sensor can scan at 1,000 or 2,000 DPI, and these two DPI settings are indicated by a pair of predefined colors that light up the scroll wheel, DPI switch and side panels of the mouse. We’re talking about blue for the more casual 1,000 DPI setting and red for the 2,000 version, as the latter is definitely better for gaming sessions.
The motion detection rating of 1.5 meters per second also deserves a mention, as does the product’s design with six buttons, which can be used for browser navigation, bringing up the Windows panel or switching the DPI, among others. The CHERRY MC 4000 is expected to become available in September, and it will come with an MSRP (manufacturer suggested retail price) of €30. Now, some of you might not be willing to pay this much for such a simple-looking mouse, but those of you who are looking for practicality and performance instead of flashiness would possibly consider it a worthwhile investment.
