Chieftec GP-01B Now Available in Europe

The Chieftec brand may not be very well-known in western markets, but the brand has been steadily picking up momentum over the years. Now it looks to kick it up another notch with one of their best-looking chassis to date, the GP-01B. Offering a 0,7mm thick metal ATX chassis and a design for the DIY gaming market. Coming in an all-black finish (both on the exterior and the interior), the GP-01B presents itself with a honey-comb structured and detachable mesh front and top panel as well as a transparent left side panel, emphasizing the gaming focus further. It comes equipped with 2 LED rails, in the top area of the front, running parallel to each other. The LEDs can be set to run in a color-loop of 8 different colors, running with gradual changes as well as fixed to just one color or completely switched off by simply using the LED button.

2x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0 connectors, a HD audio IN & OUT connector as well as buttons to regulate both the fan speed and the LED behavior, the GP-01B offers all that is required and more for a convenient handling and usage.

The black painted interior of the GP-01B offers 100% cable management solutions and is split into 2 separate cooling chambers, the bottom one dedicated to the PSU and the HDDs and the upper chamber which is maintained for VGA and other components thereby ensuring optimal cooling components which increases longevity of same significantly. With dimensions of 516mm (L) x 210mm (W) x 450mm (H), PSUs with lengths of up to 200mm are supported with ease while a vertically and horizontally adjustable VGA card holder enhances stability of installed components.

The cooling of the tool free 4x internal HDDs, the 2x tool free internal SSDs, the 2x external ODDs and all other components are realized by the generously pre-installed 2x 12cm fans in the front and 1x 12cm fan on the rear side. Generally, you may install either 2x 12cm OR 2x 14cm fans OR 24cm/28cm water cooling aggregates to the top, 1x 12cm to the rear and 1x18cm +12cm OR 24cm water-cooling +12cm fan OR 3x12cm fan to the front while a highly sophisticated fan speed controller board can be used to regulate the speed of the fans accordingly (high or low).

In addition, the bottom of the case is laced with a detachable and washable dust guard to ensure a dust-free chassis interior while the chassis stands on solid and modern feet thereby providing the urgently needed ventilation space for the PSU installed to the bottom cooling chamber.

The new chassis is set to in Asia immediately, and follow in Europe any very soon, so keep an eye out for it at your local retailer!
