Chieftronic Steel Power 750W PSU Review

Packaging
The front of the packaging provides you with a nice clear image of the power supply front and centre. While it is a case of black on black, Chieftronic has made the smart choice to make the PSU image glossy, which, by proxy, makes it stand out quite nicely.
In truth, and in something of a moderate surprise, there is very little in the way of salesmanship on the rear of the box work. The entire area is dominated by technical specifications. So a rather spartan approach appears to be the case here.
On the whole, the packaging does seem to be more than a little generic, and that is perhaps best highlighted in the fact that there is nothing on it that specifically denoted which wattage output this is from the series. In fact, the only thing that tells you this anywhere is through a sticker on the side of the box. It works for sure, but it does make you feel that Chieftronic has perhaps looked to cut costs in the presentation in order to make this product as cost-effective (to both them and consumers) as much as possible.
Accessories
As this is a power supply, you clearly don’t expect much in the way of accessories. Fortunately, what Chieftronic does supply you with should be more than sufficient. Not only are you provided with a nice quality manual, but you’re also given a branded canvas bag in which to store the cables you don’t (currently) require for your system.
