Chinese Company Launches RTX 4060 With an Integrated Spirit Level?

Graphics cards often come with all sorts of little gimmicks to make them stand out from the crowd usually in the form of some unique RGB, special cooling solutions or just some simple added accessories such as a GPU stand to prevent sagging. One thing that ASL has done is create a graphics card that you can also use to assist in putting up a picture on the wall with the inclusion of an integrated spirit level.
ASL RTX 4060 With Spirit Level
As shared by VideoCardz, ASL, a Chinese Manufacturer, has released a new RTX 4060 model which features a spirit level built into the shroud of the card. Now whilst I’ve seen quite a few GPUs this is something I have personally never seen before, but as it turns out it has been done before by Manli with their RTX 4090 Gallardo.
Unlike Manli, ASL has opted to place the spirit level on the end of the card rather than on the side making it not easy to see. Also unlike Manli, this spirit level doesn’t appear to serve much purpose as the Manli card, being a 4090, is a lot larger and more prone to GPU sagging, whilst this 4060 at just 2 slots thick, doesn’t appear to be, although looks can be deceiving. Looking closer at the twin fanned cooler, it does look as if it may be made out of metal rather than plastic which you would usually see on cooler shrouds so there is likely a solid bit of added weight in that.
Why ASL have decided on this integrated spirit level is something we probably won’t know, besides looking cool I guess. There isn’t much further information shared on this card for pricing or specs, but being a Chinese company It’s unlikely to be a concern to us in Europe or the US.
