The content for Google’s Chromecast seems to be widening every month, now boasting a fresh batch of content partners in Comedy Central, Sesame Street Go, Nickelodeon, EPIX, YuppTV, Encore, and radio app TuneIn. All of these apps will be available from today, just in time for the Holiday Season. Chromecast faces stiff opposition from rival TV streaming systems Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire.
The most notable additions to the TV streaming dongle, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon, come courtesy of owner Viacom. Comedy Central, is home to popular shows like South Park, The Daily Show, and Key and Peele, while Nickelodeon airs cult favourites Spongebob Squarepants and Legend of Korra.
