Chuwi Introduces GBOX Mini-PC with Intel Gemini Lake N4100

Chuwi is off to a flying start in 2018 with the announcement of their latest project called the GBOX. It is essentially a compact, Intel NUC alternative which provides excellent bang-for-buck just like their previous products. This time however, they want input from potential customers on what features they want on the device.
Powered by Intel Gemini Lake
The mini-PC uses Intel’s highly efficient Gemini Lake N4100 chip. This is an improvement over the last generation’s Apollo Lake which introduced 4K UHD 10-bit support. It performs up to 55% more and now boasts VP9 hardware decoding, making it an ideal low-power HTPC system.
Get a Chance to Win One
Other than the use of the Gemini Lake N4100, Chuwi wants users to customize it, including what it should look like. At the same time, they are running a promo giving people a chance to win the product once it comes out.
There is a poll on the landing page showing the latest consensus. So far it appears that the M.2 storage option is highly popular as well as having 128GB of storage built-in. A large 8GB RAM option seems to be in demand as well. To participate, head out to http://promotion.chuwi.com/chuwi_Game_Box_2018/ and fill out the form to have your say.
