Cities Skylines 2 Get the Road Mod of Your Dreams!

I loved Cities Skylines, I have many hundreds of hours in it. I have a couple of hundred hours in Cities Skylines 2, but I think it’s fair to say I backed off eventually as the issues were… many. Still, it’s a beautiful game and I stretched my time with mods. That being said, it still needed a lot more, so I’ve been waiting for an excuse to go back. A few updates from the devs, a few more mods, more community content, and hopefully a few DLC would tick all the boxes for me.

This new mod, however, may tempt me back a little early, it’s so well made, you would think it was done by the developers themselves. Or, perhaps not, because it actually works, and Colossal Order have a record of doing a great job of things on the surface, and screwing up the underlying technical stuff.

Want to build a road? Of course you do, they’re the biggest part of the game. Road Builder lets you build anything you want. Built a multi-late highway, add sidewalks, bus lanes, tram lines, and more, and you can save that and reuse it. You can update your templates over time, you can copy whole sections and extend them. Honestly, it’s a truly innovative, easy to use and has a beautiful UI that really doesn’t feel like a “mod” at all.

You can even save your creation and share them, or download other people creations, so this one is going to blow up fast in the city building community. Check out the mod in the video below.
