Cities Skylines 2 Gets Official Support for NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution
Peter Donnell / 6 months ago
The developers at Colossal Order have just released a new update for its polarizing city builder, Cities: Skylines 2. I love this game, I have spent many hours crafting wonderful cities, but I have to admit, it still lacks a lot of features from the original and there’s a lot of work still to be done to make it a truly great game. However, looking at the patch notes for update 1.1.2f1, they’ve finally added support for NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution. Considering some still have performance issues with this game, the scaling technology will certainly help improve performance and image quality for those with an NVIDIA RTX graphics card.
Furthermore, PC users can now also enjoy Lossless Scaling Frame Generation, and if you use this in conjunction with DLSS, you can get some pretty significant improvements to both the resolution and frame rate right now, something I’ll be testing further later today!
Of course, that’s not all that’s in the new updates, and you can check out the full suite of fixes and improvements in the changelog below. To get the update, simply let your client update the next time you go to play.
Cities: Skylines II is currently 10% off on Steam.
