Cities Skylines II Patch 1.0.14f1 has been released and introduces many more patches to the city builder.
Among the many issues within Cities Skylines II, one of them was parking. Several buildings, primarily commercial ones, would feature car parks but no cars as the citizens would rather park on the road creating an overall unsightly city. You can of course prevent people from parking by using wider pavements, but people still wouldn’t use the car parks in commercial areas. This patch has fixed this issue with citizens now having a larger preference to use parking lots on buildings as well as dedicated parking lots. Alongside this, the parking lots are more balanced with their upkeep costs, electricity and water consumption and garbage accumulation.
Other fixes aren’t as notable but just as welcome including the indefinite “Garbage Piling Up” notifications, some texture optimisations, some fixes to pathfinding and increased passive coverage range for service buildings.
Cities Skylines 2 is available on Steam and on Xbox/PC Game Pass.
