Another entry into the popular turn-based historical strategy game Sid Meier’s Civilization has been confirmed to be in development. Following a tweet from the official Twitter page for the game, @CivGame, which announced that the Next Civ game is in development.
This Tweet follows the announcement from Firaxis Games, who are the studio behind Civilization, that Heaver Hazen the Chief Operating Officer has been promoted to Studio Head. Hazen will be taking over the position from the former longtime Studio Head, Steve Martin, who will be leaving the studio after more than 25 years at the organisation.
With a new Studio Head, what could this mean for this new iteration of Civilization, only time will tell.
