Epic Games’ Design Director, Cliff “CliffyB” Bleszinski has left the company. The man behind games such as the Unreal series, Gears of War and many more fan favourites says he wants a “much needed break”.
Considering CliffyB has been with the company for nearly 20 years, one would agree a break would be nice. CliffyB held mould the games we all love today, and the games we all loved to play decades ago, such as Jazz Jackrabbit, the countless Unreal titles, the handful of Gears of War games, and even games like Bulletstorm.
Bleszinski hasn’t hinted where he’s headed yet, or if he’s even going to stay in the gaming industry, but it’s sad to see him go.
