Taking a look at the card, the first thing that you’ll notice is that it really is tiny. We’ve seen GTX 560Ti based cards with twin coolers on from the likes of Asus and MSI, but this is about three quarters of the size. The card is mostly covered by a metal heatsink cover, which protects the aluminium Cool Stream designed heatsink and heatpipes.
In the middle of the card, we find what looks to be an 80mm fan with the Club 3D clover branding in the middle. The fan is black and includes slightly waved blades to give the best airflow across the card. The two heatpipes connect into the baseplate and converge at the top of the card where they span to different sides of the heatsink to give the best cooling.
As with all GTX 560Ti cards that we’ve ever seen, this card is no different when it comes down to the power connectors and includes two 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors.
As we stated earlier, this card does have the functionality for bridging it together with another via Nvidia SLI and has a single SLI bridge connector towards the top-rear of the card. Sadly no SLI bridge comes included, but most motherboards that support SLI technology, should come inclusive of the adapters needed.
Being an Nvidia based card, we find the typical layout for the rear I/O. There are two dual-link DVI ports and a single mini HDMI 1.4a port which supports Blu-ray 3D acceleration, Deep Colour and 7.1 digital surround sound. Due to having three connectors, it allows for Nvidia 3D Vision Surround for those wanting the best in multi-display 3D gaming.
Specification wise we find the card has a 822MHz GPU clock speed, 4008MHz memory clock speed and 1645MHz Shader clock. Whilst these speeds don’t exactly jump out as they are nothing extra when comparing to a reference card, it’s worth noting that this card is said to use a lot less power than the reference card.
