The Club3D HD 7790 royalKing uses a plain black shroud with the various Club3D monikers on it. There is a single centrally placed 80mm fan cooling an aluminium heatsink with what appears to be a single 6mm heat pipe.
Club3D have used a small PCB and opted for a black PCB too which is always a nice touch.
The cooler’s mounting screws are also easily accessible if you want to change out thermal paste.
Underneath the shroud you can see that solitary 6mm heat pipe which moves heat away from the GPU to be cooled by the 80mm fan.
The card is very small and the cooler is PCB length, the overall design extends just an inch past the end of the PCIe bus. In terms of length we are looking at about 7 inches, then add another inch for the side mounted PCIe power connector. The card is bang on two slots thick. We can also see a single CrossFireX connector for 2 way CrossFire X only.
The end is open for outward flowing ventilation. The side mounted PCIe 6 pin connector is also visible here.
At the bottom we can see the open nature of the shroud to allow internal hot air to be exhausted into the case.
In terms of outputs we have HDMI 1.4a, Display Port 1.2 HBR2 MST, DVI-I and DVI-D. There is support for up to six displays using an MST hub for the DisplayPort.
In a GPU-Z validation we can see the overclocked GPU core of 1075MHz.
