Today is a good day for Radeon owners, with Club3D unveiling their new Radeon R9 290X royalAce 8GB GPU, with – well, spoiler alert before – 8GB of VRAM. The new R9 290X royalAce 8GB GPU is the perfect companion for ultra high-res gamers, aimed at 4K and above. The company has also shifted around the prices of its R9 290X royalKing and royalAce graphics cards, so if you’re after a new card, Club3D should have you covered.
But this new beast features an insane 8192MB of GDDR5 RAM, and is overclocked out of the box. Club3D has cranked things up on the GPU clock to 1030MHz, while the memory clock sits nicely at 5500MHz. We have dual BIOS functionality, and one of the better side of things is the beautiful triple-fan CoolStream cooler with five copper heatpipes. It’s a triple-slot GPU, but hey – it’s overclocked, has 8GB of RAM and will do beautifully in a Crossfire setup at 4K.
