Club3D Radeon HD 7790 13Series CrossFire Review

Dirt Showdown is a video game from Codemasters and is part of the Colin McRae Rally games revolving around a tour of events to compete in allowing you to win money and prizes to spend on new cars and upgrades as well as unlocking new events and races. The game uses high resolution textures and AA settings to simulate dust particles, terrain and damage to the vehicles.

Whilst we have seen some strong results so far, this result is one that has left me absolutely shocked. As we know, Titan is the worlds most powerful single core GPU that money can buy, but here we find that a pair of lower end 7790’s not only take on, but beat the monster card in all resolutions. Part of the reasoning for this unbelievable result comes down to that fact that Dirt: Showdown is optimised for AMD cards and so by default AMD cards will always have leading edge in this particular benchmark.
