CM Storm Ceres 400 PC Headset Review

The headset comes with a pair of 3.5mm gold plated jack plugs for the headphones and microphone. Both are of a good build quality and hopefully shouldn’t suffer too much wear and tear.
The in-line remote is pretty basic but it does feature a simple volume control wheel and a microphone on off switch, which is pretty much everything you need really, all other controls can of course be taken care of in Windows Sound Manager.
The overall style of the headset looks pretty decent, finished with some high quality black plastics with some minor red detailing on each ear piece. The microphone is hard mounted on the side of the left ear cup with an easy to use 90 degree rotating mount, this allows you to fold it up out of way when not in use.
Each ear cup features a few style touches with the red trim and X shape raised pattern giving the headset a more unique appearance.
The headsets are covered with a really soft fabric covering over a good amount of soft padding, this should really help with comfort over those long gaming sessions. Each ear cup can also be adjusted via the headband to ensure a good fit for each user.
The head band is reasonably flexible yet durable, this also features a good amount of padding at the top to help keep it in place on your head but also keep your head comfortable.
