Final Thoughts
Cooler Master and their CM Storm division have made a fantastic case with the Enforcer. It’s an easy to install case with a superb look and great cooling options and if required, even more space for more cooling. Like my pictures showed, it is so simple to install the components, heck, even my kids can do it. Adding the motherboard and SSD’s had to be done old school style, but with the amount of space available, it’s no headache.
Having the ability to remove the upper HDD cage allows you to install even longer video cards, though for the purposes of this review, I used a 270mm card so this wasn’t needed.
Also, if you have a long power supply such as some of the ToughPower range from Thermaltake, you can simply remove the SSD bottom cage to allow for more room.
One of the advances for this case is that the Enforcer includes two USB 3.0 connectors and thankfully no FireWire at the front of the case. Combine all of this with the two USB 2.0 connectors and any user should have enough connection options available.
I am still a bit unsure about the way that the StormGuard security bracket is going to be useful to most users, but this is a fairly new feature and time will tell if this will be a useful option to the majority of consumers.
Overall, i couldn’t find any downsides to this case and will even replace my old Lian Li PC70 gaming rig with this one. In all the years I was using the Lian Li, I tried several times to replace it but couldn’t find a chassis to rival it in terms of easy installation and looks, but the Enforcer is set to take it over for me and will be my new case for housing my gaming rig for my racing simulator.
