CM Storm Inferno Gaming Mouse Review

PackagingFrom the front we find the packaging to be very striking, it has the standard CM Storm theme but certainly stands out from other products.
As is typical with CM Storm, this front page opens up, and in fact has a little circular Velcro binding to hold it shut. Opening this page up you can now see the product (and the Velcro).
On the inside ‘page’ of this now ‘book-like’ product, we find a few of the finer features of the CM Storm, including the onboard Sentinel-X (128KB) and the Rapid Fire Tactical key. Which does certainly sound impressive!
From the left-hand side, we find the phrase ‘Gaming mouse – Inferno’ and ‘ For more information please visit our website: ..’ in 18 different languages. This does feel to be a token gesture towards the worldwide market as it doesn’t exactly tell you much in any of the languages.
On the back of the box they have kept it fairly simple, by just outlining the specifications in quite a large font. While it is simple, this is perfect if you are looking at products in a store and want to quickly compare them.
On the remaining side we seethe ‘Storm Tactics’ logo and the 3 accompanying features that go with all CM Storm products.
After opening up the package we find the product and a CD with the ‘Storm Tactic Ap Software’ loaded onto it. This should prove to be fairly useful.
