The Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator launched with great success earlier this year; a budget friendly gaming mouse and keyboard combo for little over £20. Following on from the success of the Devastator, CM Storm are now launching their Octane keyboard and mouse combo, another budget friendly offering, but with revised specifications and aesthetics vs the Devastator bundle.
The Octane combo offers seven different backlight colour options on both the mouse and the keyboard, allowing you to tailor the overall look of your desktop to match your system build; or even just to make your room look cool when gaming in the dark.
The Octane mouse comes equipped with the popular AVAGO 3050 optical sensor, four level DPI toggle with a range of 500 to 3500 DPI and switches that are rated up to 10 million clicks. The keyboard is packed full of features such as dedicated multimedia controls, backlight switching key, Windows key lock, adjustable repeat rates, 19 key anti-ghosting and more.
The Octane will be available soon from most major retailers with an MSRP of just £34.99. Getting this many features for very little money is no bad thing and while the overall quality might not be the same as their flagship devices, this is a cost-effective solution for those who need to game on a tighter budget.
Thank you CM Storm for providing us with this information.
